As an editor and VFX artist for the Thousand Women awareness campaign, I embarked on a project with a powerful message aimed at shedding light on the pervasive issue of gender violence and its detrimental impact on young girls. Through sensitive editing and poignant visual effects, I endeavored to convey the stark reality of this societal issue, emphasizing the insidious nature of the cycle of pain and silence that affects countless women and girls. By skillfully integrating impactful footage and evocative imagery, I aimed to evoke empathy and provoke thought, urging viewers to confront the uncomfortable truths surrounding gender-based violence. Through collaborative efforts, we crafted a narrative that empowered survivors and advocated for change, igniting conversations and fostering collective action to break the cycle of silence and support victims of violence.
